Where Evidence Shapes Investment
Registration to join us in person is now closed. You can still join us online on 23 June 2026. The sessions will be live streamed on our homepage.
The Resilience Hub returns to London Climate Action Week as a high-level convening bringing together business leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and practitioners shaping how resilience is applied in practice. In a context of geopolitical instability, supply chain disruption, and increasing overlap between climate risk and fragile environments, resilience helps inform decisions on risk, continuity, and long-term security. This programme focuses on how those decisions are being made – and where they need to evolve based on the latest resilience evidence at hand.
During the day, sessions examine how resilience is reflected in corporate strategy, capital allocation, infrastructure and health systems, and financial flows. A flagship C-suite exchange will explore how businesses are navigating system dependencies and making decisions under real constraints. The Investor Forum will connect locally-led innovators with investors, corporate partners, and funders, creating direct pathways to scale through interactive pitches and targeted exchange, with a focus on solutions emerging from high-risk and climate-affected contexts.
This year, we are also excited to host a curated session, Building the Next Economy, in collaboration with global climate initiative TED Countdown. Drawing on TED’s approach to ideas and storytelling, the session will explore how rapid technological change and shifting global dynamics are reshaping the economy.
The Resilience Hub provides a space to connect evidence with action, linking resilience science, real economy leadership, and investment and policy agendas to support more aligned and effective responses to today’s risks in both stable and fragile settings.a

Resilience that works: Aligning business, finance, and policy for transformative potential
A C-suite dialogue unpacking how emerging reporting standards and risk frameworks are reshaping corporate decision-making — and where they fall short in driving meaningful resilience outcomes. Combining peer exchange, expert sense-checks from resilience scientists, and direct dialogue with policymakers, the session tackles a core question: what does a new resilience economy look like, and what will it take to achieve it?

communities across the country. Powered by generative AI, combining
natural language processing (NLP) and text-to-speech technologies, the
service turns complex, technical forecasts into clear, localized voice
messages in Sudanese Arabic and priority local languages and dialects. It
bridges communication gaps by transforming forecasts into timely, clear,
and actionable audio messages, especially benefiting people who may not
easily access or interpret written information. Alerts are delivered
through accessible communication channels widely used by these
communities, including local radio, mobile networks, and social media,
ensuring that critical information reaches everyone when it matters most.

migrant communities in the Philippines from recurring floods and climate
disasters. By combining real-time weather and hydrological data with
community mapping, the system predicts hazards and delivers hyperlocal
alerts on disaster preparedness through SMS, social media, radio, and
chatbots, ensuring that even those without internet access receive
critical guidance. Centered on women and youth, this innovation builds
resilience through inclusive, data-driven communication that empowers
vulnerable urban migrants to act early, stay safe, and recover stronger.

County, Kenya. This will serve as Africa’s first pilot linking
unconditional cash transfers directly to ecosystem conservation. Through
an innovative “cash for conservation” model, the CCF will provide regular,
unconditional cash payments, referred to as “climate dividends,” to rural
communities to support ecological restoration activities such as
regenerative agriculture and rangeland management. The initiative promotes
community-led governance, builds climate resilience, and lays the
foundation for a locally governed, self-sustaining conservation economy.
Backed by the Global Cash for Conservation Working Group, the project aims
to catalyse a shift away from extractive conservation models toward
equitable, inclusive, and scalable nature-based solutions.

reproductive health in climate-related emergencies. In crises, women and
young people often lose access to essential sexual and reproductive health
and rights (SRHR) services, leading to untreated infections, maternal
complications, and preventable deaths. Hushaid helps to identify health
risks and connect users to consultations, medications, and mobile
diagnostic services. It also generates early-warning data to enable
responders to take anticipatory action. Fundamentally, Hushaid strengthens
resilience and supports continuity of SRH services during emergencies.

vulnerability by combining agroforestry with innovative digital technology
to deliver solutions that are both economically sustainable and mutually
beneficial to people and planet. Through the existing GI mobile app,
smallholder farmers can document their trees, receive financial rewards,
and access tailored advisory services, empowering them to participate
transparently in carbon credit markets. The project tackles the lack of
rewards and transparency in carbon projects, ensuring that communities
doing the work on the ground are recognised. Additionally, the project
focuses on establishing traceable value chains for agroforestry harvests,
connecting farmers to premium markets, where the GI application also plays
a key role in value chain traceability. This approach enhances
biodiversity, improves livelihoods and unlocks climate finance for
long-term sustainability and restoration.

unemployment, climate change, and periodic earthquakes. The November 2023
earthquake in Jajarkot destroyed 79,000 homes, highlighting the
vulnerability of these areas. Build Up Nepal addresses these challenges

production of eco-friendly interlocking bricks and construction of
disaster-resistant homes. This innovation creates jobs, reduces CO2
emissions significantly, and improves the resilience of infrastructure to
climate and disaster impacts.

Going Digital for Infrastructure Resilience
This session marks the launch of a new report on how infrastructure organizations are responding to growing climate disruption and why many still struggle to turn resilience ambition into operational delivery. Co-hosted by Bentley Systems and CDRI, and with contributions from Verdantix (who conducted the survey), the discussion will explore the report’s core findings on climate risk, infrastructure continuity, digital fragmentation, investment barriers, and the shift from reactive to predictive resilience. The session will convene research, industry, and resilience perspectives to examine what must change for infrastructure systems to become more integrated, adaptive, and climate-ready.
