Following on from our kick-off event in London, the Resilience Hub is back on the road and attending Climate Week NYC. This is another first for The Resilience Hub and we are delighted to invite you to join us.
The Resilience Hub and the Global Resilience Partnership (GRP) are hosting a flagship event as part of Climate Week NYC. While for the Resilience Hub this presents a key opportunity to establish continuity in its presence at key global events, the Global Resilience Partnership will host an Investor Forum funded by GEF/UNDP for a growing pipeline of resilience solutions, while also celebrating its 10th anniversary.
We have an exciting morning of programming sessions planned, with a focus on finance and nature, as their integration is gaining momentum in adaptation efforts driven by the urgent need to address climate change impacts. The concept of combining nature and finance in adaptation events revolves around promoting sustainable financial strategies to mitigate and adapt to environmental changes. The events at Climate Week NYC aim to bring together policymakers, financial experts, environmental scientists, and community leaders to discuss innovative funding mechanisms for climate resilience projects. The sessions will emphasise the integration of green investments and nature-based solutions to enhance the adaptive capacity of vulnerable ecosystems and communities
The morning will be split into three sessions in order to tackle the broad subject matter in depth from different perspectives and ensure a dynamic range of speakers and content. The sessions will close with a networking lunch to allow for continued discussions.
Visit the GRP website to learn more about their afternoon sessions.
In the evening, join us to celebrate our fourth edition of the Resilience Hub and GRP’s 10-year anniversary!
