At the Resilience Hub, our people drive our impact. We are a global coalition of climate strategists, adaptation experts, and changemakers united by a shared purpose: to accelerate ambition, action, and investment in climate resilience.

Our team is committed to translating ideas into action: bridging science, policy, community and needs. Meet the diverse experts working behind the scenes to design and implement the Resilience Hub and drive its mission forward.

Resilience Hub Executives

Jorge Gastelumendi is a Resilience Hub Executive. He is a seasoned policy and legal expert and heads the Atlantic Council’s Climate Resilience Center. Jorge brings over two decades of experience from institutions such as the Nature Conservancy and World Bank. He has also contributed to key climate policies, including the 2015 Paris Agreement as part of the Peru delegation.

Jesper Hornberg is a Resilience Hub Executive. Jesper brings over 20 years of leadership in systems change, social innovation, and cross-sector resilience. As CEO of Global Resilience Partnership, he spearheads efforts to scale practical resilience solutions globally, working with diverse partners across public, private, and philanthropic sectors.

Anastasia Brainich is the Resilience Hub Deputy Lead. She heads the policy strategy at Global Resilience Partnership and coordinates the Climate Resilience Network and engagement with the Race to Resilience. Her expertise lies in connecting global policy with regional action, especially across fragile and conflict-affected settings.

Resilience Hub Team

Karen Bennie is the event manager. She brings over 10 years of experience managing high-level, large-scale events. At the Resilience Hub, Karen coordinates the development of and on-site execution of all Hub programming.

Sarah Clarke is the project manager. With over 15 years of experience and a strong portfolio of successfully managed projects, Sarah delivers a diverse range of in-person and hybrid projects and events for the Hub.

Kathleen Euler is the communications lead. She also heads strategic communications for the Atlantic Council’s Climate Resilience Center and has previous experience with institutions including UNDP, the Ford Institute for Human Security, and the Clemente Museum.

Ida Gabrielsson is the communications advisor. She is an expert with over 10 years experience in the sector. Ida also works for the Global Resilience Partnership, where she leads the development and implementation of strategic communications, digital and media strategies.

Lauren Parker is the Sponsor and Event Coordinator for the Resilience Hub, Lauren liaises with core partners and sponsors to deliver high-impact programming. Lauren also manages event logistics for the hub.

Juvenal Vitalis is the communications officer. He is a storyteller and a digital multimedia specialist who champions climate justice and amplifies sidelined voices, particularly those on the front lines of climate change. Juvenal also works for the Global Resilience Partnership, where he supports the overall strategic communications and policy initiatives.

Resilience Hub Partners

Since its foundation, the Resilience Hub has invited partners from different regions and sectors to shape its programming. Together, they ensure the Hub reflects the priorities and knowledge of communities most vulnerable to climate change. Through the ongoing support of partners and sponsors, the Resilience Hub has expanded its reach and impact at COP and beyond.
