Brazil saw some of the worst impacts of the climate crisis on its communities, infrastructure, biodiversity, and economy in 2024. Leading the G20 process this year and COP30 on the horizon, there is increasing pressure on the private financial sector in Brazil and the Latin American Region to mobilize resources to address climate risks and costs to both businesses and society. At COP29, we have the opportunity to mobilize the private financial sector in Brazil and in the Latin American Region to achieve the following objectives:
