From commitments to action: finance and partnerships for Peru’s tropical forests
Delivering Peru’s forest-climate commitments requires more than mobilising finance: it requires connecting resources, partnerships and national priorities with effective action in Amazonian territories. This session will showcase Peru’s country-led approach to forest finance, highlighting its Country Package for Forests and Nature, the Tropical Forest Forever Facility (TFFF), the Joint Declaration of Intent (JDI), and Indigenous Jurisdictional REDD+. Bringing together government representatives, Indigenous organisations and financing partners, the discussion will explore how these complementary instruments can support territorial implementation, address financing gaps and strengthen partnerships to deliver tangible results for forests and the people who protect them.
