This session celebrates five years of the Resilience Hub’s evolution and introduces a bold new chapter grounded in science, collaboration, and impact. Participants will be introduced to the six Resilience Challenges, each rooted in the Resilience Science Must-Knows, connecting the latest science with real-world decisions to drive impact on the ground. In alignment with the call from the COP30 Presidency for ethical, inclusive, and evidence-based climate action, the Hub’s 2025 programme is purpose-built to confront complexity, unlock action, and provide a timely response to implementation gaps spotlighted in the Global Stocktake Outcome.
The participants will be immersed into these 6 Challenges by the Wisdom Keeper Delegation, who will illustrate how Indigenous knowledge and traditional wisdom are woven into the resilience agenda, highlighting the essential role of cultural and place-based knowledge in shaping effective, inclusive climate action.
By connecting cutting-edge research with real-world implementation and the ambition of the Race to Resilience Campaign of Increasing the resilience of four billion people, the Resilience Hub continues to drive forward the global resilience agenda. Come and celebrate the Opening of the Hub at COP30 with us!
