Peru will present its third version of its Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC 3.0), a plan that charts an ambitious and realistic path toward carbon neutrality and climate resilience. The participatory approach of the process, which included ministries, regional governments, Indigenous peoples, civil society, and the private sector, will be highlighted.
In addition to presenting the mitigation and adaptation targets, details will be provided on how these measures will be implemented in the short and medium term. Attendees will learn about the progress made to date and how the country has integrated lessons learned from previous cycles to ensure effective implementation. This space will provide an understanding of Peru’s commitment to global climate action and its long-term vision.
