Islands lead: 20 years of island leadership, solutions and implementation

2026 marks 20 years of island leadership catalysed through GLISPA, the Micronesia Challenge and a wider generation of island commitments, partnerships and implementation efforts across the Pacific, Caribbean, AIMS and other island regions. This session will bring island leaders, partners and supporters together around a practical question: what does it take to help island implementation move further and faster, with more predictable finance, stronger institutions and better alignment across climate, biodiversity and ocean agendas?
