IMF Spring Meetings Workshop
How do we translate critical resilience science into real-world strategies that drive action and investment?
This half-day high-level forum brings together senior leaders to refine the draft of the Resilience Science Must-Knows—a curated set of the most critical, science-backed resilience priorities. Designed to bridge the gap between scientific insight and practical application, this initiative ensures real-economy leaders have a concrete resource to navigate the adaptation and resilience landscape.
This is more than a consultation—it’s an opportunity to directly shape the global resilience agenda ahead of COP30.
Participants will provide critical input on the relevance and application of the Must-Knows to their respective sectors and realities. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to discuss specific pain points and financing challenges that might be barriers to implementation. In this way, we will ensure that the Must-Knows are not just insightful, but that they also contribute to a practical Action Guide that is investment-smart, action-ready, and aligned with real-world needs.
This high-level forum offers a unique opportunity to test how science-based insights summarised in a single guide can be useful to address specific pain points and needs in your sector, and translated into concrete actions. It’s an opportunity to shape global adaptation strategies and ensure resilience solutions are scalable, actionable, and investment-ready.
This consultation is a pivotal step in shaping how resilience is understood and operationalised, ensuring that leaders have the right insights, at the right time, to drive real impact.
