Regional Resilience Hub Networking Event – Catalytic Grants Programme opportunity

The Resilience Hub is excited to announce that the next round of catalytic grants will be launched at the COP27 Resilience Hub. This round is targeted at partnerships formed through Regional Resilience Hubs, with one grant allocated to a team from Africa, South Asia, LAC and Asia Pacific, respectively. The four teams will each be awarded a USD $5,000 grant to implement an idea fostered at the Regional Resilience Hubs and the COP27 Resilience Hub.

With a theme centred around locally-led adaptation and climate action, the focus will be on supporting local actors to take forward solutions that are relevant to their contexts. This highly interactive event will encourage attendees to engage with each other, debate different ideas that could potentially be awarded a grant, and ultimately build relationships. These newly formed partnerships will be encouraged to apply for the catalytic grant provided by the Resilience Hub to take forward their ideas and solutions discussed during the event. This action-focused event will have a tangible impact on participants’ work. The application window for the grants opens on 6 November 2022 and closes on 27 November 2022.

The Catalytic Grants Programme is an initiative by the International Centre for Climate Change and Development (ICCCAD), the Global Resilience Partnership (GRP), and the Climate Justice and Resilience Fund (CJRF). Further information on the Regional Resilience Hub activities, key messages and priorities for COP27 can be found on the Resilience Hub website.
