Negotiating resilience: climate finance and adaptation – conversations from the UNFCCC process
17 November @ 9:30 am – 10:30 am EEST
As COP31 enters its second week, this session unpacks where the adaptation and finance negotiations stand after Week 1 and looks ahead to the decisions taking shape in Week 2. Adaptation and finance are negotiated in different rooms, but one cannot deliver without the other. Adaptation and finance negotiators join observer constituencies in a moderated conversation on progress so far, how the two tracks connect, and what is needed for a strong COP31 outcome for the most vulnerable communities.
