This session brings together:
To explore how economic and social justice for rainforest communities is the foundation of lasting climate integrity. From blended finance and landscape-scale governance to cash-for-conservation pilots, we will show how investing directly in people drives both resilience and regeneration.
Drawing from real-world evidence in Peru and Kenya, the panel will highlight practical pathways—like a Climate Commons Fund and the MYLP restoration project, where the biggest winner is the forest we never even touch—that link income security, ecological restoration, and measurable integrity. Participants will leave with a clear vision of how financing lives and livelihoods can be the most effective form of conservation finance.
