Roof Over Our Heads (ROOH) book volume IV – creating measurements to produce scalability: learning from 71 labs globally

Showcasing evidence of adaptation globally, official Launch of the Roof Over Our Heads (ROOH) Volume IV. The ROOH campaign reframes informal housing as a vital resource for climate resilience rather than a problem to eliminate. Spanning 71 labs in 16 countries, ROOH showcases how co-production enables communities to repair, retrofit, and rebuild against extreme weather threats. It is not testing whether the conditions can be created for communities to keep finding financing, evaluating and improving solutions themselves.. The ROOH process shares a new normal where residents incrementally upgrade vulnerable homes through a range of solutions. This COP session highlights proven, community-led pathways to secure climate justice and housing equity worldwide.
